AP Panchayat Secretary 2019

AP Panchayat Secretary 2019 notification has been released. The Andhra Pradesh Panchayat Raj Subordinate Service (APPSC) is going recruit 1051 candidates to the post of Panchayat Secretary (Grade – IV) in the state. So, eligible candidates who are willing to grab this attractive job opportunity with the state government can apply for the APPSC recruitment 2019. The application can be made through the official website of APPSC, i.e.  https://psc.ap.gov.in from 27th of December. The last date to apply for the recruitment is 19th January 2019.

Along with the notification, the APPSC has announced that it will conduct the screening test if the total number of applications exceed beyond 25,000.  AP Panchayat Secretary Recruitment 2019 – Eligibility Criteria

Age Qualification

As per the AP Panchayat Secretary Recruitment Notification, the lower age limit to apply for the exam is 18 years. While the maximum age to apply for the exam has been fixed at 42 years as on 7th of January 2018. There will be age relaxation for the candidates belonging to Scheduled Tribes, Scheduled Caste, PWD, Backward Caste and Women as per the regulations of APPSC.

Educational Qualification

To apply for the AP Panchayat Secretary Recruitment exam 2019, the candidate must have a degree in graduation from any university in India recognized by University Grant Commission.

APPSC Recruitment 2018: How to apply

  • First of all, visit the official website psc.ap.gov.in.
  • On the home page of the website, click on the link that shows ‘One Time Profile Registration’.
  • Now you will be redirected to the new window.
  • Now under the Direct Recruitment link, click on the New Registration (if you have not yet register)
  • Upon clicking on New Registration link, you would be given an OTP to register.
  • After making your registration, you would be issued an OTPR ID.
  • You can use the OTPR ID to apply for the recruitment exam of APPSC Panchayat Secretary.

Selection Process

Offline Screening Test 

According to the announcement made by the commission, it will conduct an offline screening test if the applications go beyond 25,000. The offline screening test will be conducted to shortlist the candidates for the Computer Based Test.

Online Main Test

The candidates who will qualify the offline screening test will be eligible to appear for the online main test. The selection of the candidates to the post of Panchayat Secretary will be solely done on the basis of merit list prepared after taking into consideration their performance in the main test.

Merit List

Following the schedule of the Main test, the result will be announced. Depending upon the performance of the candidates in the online main exam, the merit list will be prepared. The merit list will include the name of the candidates who have been shortlisted for the appointment. After the preparation of the merit list, the candidates would be required to submit medical certificates to prove their fitness. Any candidate having any sort of medical issues will not be considered for selection to the post of Panchayat Secretary.

1. Screening Test

The screening test comprises of objective type questions and is conducted offline. Given below is the exam pattern for the screening test.

AP Panchayat Secretary Recruitment 2019 – Admit Card

The AP Panchayat Secretary admit card 2019 will be made available 10-15 days before the schedule of the exam. The candidates would be required to have their registration number and password with them to download their admit card. Moreover, it will be mandatory for the candidates to carry the APPSC admit card to the exam as entry into the exam hall would not be allowed without admit card.

AP Panchayat Secretary Recruitment 2019 – Result

Upon the successful scheduling of the main exam, the final result will be prepared. The commission along the result will publish the merit list that will include the name of the selected candidates for appointment. After the release of the merit list, the candidates will be required to submit their medical fitness certificate to get the appointment.
